Born in Alicante, he began playing in the Banda de Música de Mutxamel where his father was the conductor. It was his father who started him in music and helped him throughout his career. He began his official studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Oscar Esplá" in Alicante where he was awarded the "Premio Fin de Grado Medio". After that he continued his studies at the Real Conservatorio de Música de Madrid where he was awarded the "Premio de Honor Fin de Carrera". His teachers were José Mirete, Jesús Campos, Rafael López del Cid y José Domínguez.

He completed his studies in Francia, with a scolarship from the Diputación Provincial de Alicante, Italia and England with Andras Adorjan, Alain Marion, Maxence Larrieu, Raymond Guiot, Michel Debost and Geoffrey Gilbert.

He was a member of the Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Madrid. And he was also a teacher in the conservatory in Getafe and Guadalajara. He often gives courses and Master Classes throughout Spain. He has a very important vocation as a chamber musician. Being the founder of the Aubade Quintet and he has been invited to play with some of the most important chamber groups and orchestras in Spain, playing Classical as well as contemporany music.

He has played as soloist with Orquesta de Cámara Ciutat d'Elx, Orquesta de Cámara Española, Russian International Chamber Orchestra, Orquesta Clásica de Madrid, Orquesta Villa de Madrid and Orquesta Nacional de España. He has also colaborated with Virtuosos de Moscú, Philarmonia Orchestra of London, Grupo LIM, Grupo KOAN, etc.

At this moment he is a member of the Orquesta Nacional de España and gives clases in the Escuela Superior de Estudios Musicales de Madrid.

He has made numerous recordings with the National Radio RNE, and RTVE also making a number of recordings on various lables, and he has received the highest praise from the public and press.
